Yes, it’s been three long months of thesis, research, tennis, eating, getting fat and gouty.

Well. I just defended my thesis and wrote a research article about Feminist Marxism.

It is a requirement before graduation. The journal set up is exacting. It means I have to compress thoughts to make them succinct, use MLA 7th edition format, and ensure that my research was orig.

But I didn’t forget you, My Shorts. I’ve sketched an informal schedule to at least write, rewrite and work on the scenes and use all the critical theories I’ve come to understand in order to make a point.

Now I see how one begins to write. I am sure it was easier for, let’s say, a seasoned writer or fictionist to tell a story and how its purpose is conveyed as well as use the words that mean something. You following me?

I have at least 20 stories that are pretty much done with the first editing process. It’s mostly LGBTQIA+ stories. All I have to do is see which ones fit and maybe leave the rest for another book.

My deadline is November 2025. Hopefully I will have a book by beginning of March 2026.

ps. Not sure about Phd yet. If so, it will either be DLSU or UP-Diliman. The online courses are wayy too expensicve so I wanna take a gap year, work on my book, then maybe start school in 2026.
